It was fun to come home today and discover that TCM has posted the October schedule online.
The October Star of the Month is one of the greatest film actors ever, who also happens to be one of my favorite actors: Fredric March.
TCM will be showing over two dozen March films in October, including DESIGN FOR LIVING (1933), THERE GOES MY HEART (1938), SUSAN AND GOD (1940), BEDTIME STORY (1941), I MARRIED A WITCH (1942), SEVEN DAYS IN MAY (1964), and many more excellent titles. March's Oscar-winning performances in DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE (1932) and THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES (1946) will be on the schedule as well.
For more on the October schedule, scan the discussion at TCM.
In the meantime, Gregory Peck is the July Star of the Month. Summer Under the Stars comes to TCM in August, and Vivien Leigh is the Star of the Month in September.
Update: If you can't wait till October, visit Thrilling Days of Yesteryear for more details on TCM's October schedule.
